Modules Deep Dive

WaveNodes Professional consists of five powerful modules, each designed to give you a specific edge in your trading.

🎯 Module 1: Dynamic Support & Resistance Zones (IWC Module)

Detects real-time support and resistance projection system using advanced intelligent wave calculations (IWC) and price flow behavior analysis. It plots possible support and resistance levels dynamically, matching institutional algorithm behavior, while price is in action.

Key Features:

  • Adaptive to market conditions
  • Highlights reactive price zones
  • Optional directional frequency tuning
  • Works across all timeframes

Purpose:

Identify active support and resistance zones in real time.

Usage:

This module highlights key price zones where the market is most likely to react — helping traders time their entries, exits, and stop-losses with precision. Ideal for breakout, reversal, and trend continuation setups. It plots dynamic support and resistance zones that price behavior reacts to, helping traders identify support and resistance with greater accuracy.

📊 Market State Analysis

When price is between red and green box, it is stated to be in balanced i.e. non-trending or range bound state. When price breaks out below red box or above green box, it is in imbalanced i.e. trending state.

Target Projection Module uses cloud breakouts for finding entry point, projecting targets, and calculating failure point.

Enable or disable it from Professional 2025 > Settings. Default is Enabled

IWC Module Chart Example

Elements of Module:

  • Bullish Cloud or Dynamic Resistance Zone: Examples in chart - A, B, C, D, E and all other green colored boxes / clouds
  • Bearish Cloud or Dynamic Support Zone: Examples in chart - F, G and all other red colored boxes / clouds
  • Node line: Shown in latest cloud / box and is median of box, depending on volatility zone i.e. height of the box
  • Volatility zone: Refers to height of the boxes / clouds that varies based on current volatility. This aspect can be ignored as it is taken care by the module itself.
IWC Elements Example

Settings Overview:

Directional Change Frequency

Fine-tunes how frequently the system updates dynamic zones - Default is 0 for auto; negative values are for capturing aggressive change in directions, while positive values are to capture slower change in direction.

Negative values are preferred by scalpers and traders of highly volatile instruments. While positive values should be preferred by swing / patience traders or the traders of low volatile instruments.

Default: 0

Highlight Reactive Price Action

Visually marks when price movements are possibly reactive i.e. some participant(s) have picked up heavy position and Whales / Sharks are reacting to hit stop loss.

Default: Enabled
IWC Settings Example

🎓 Learning Moment

Lower sensitivity (-3) works well for scalping and day trading, while higher sensitivity (+3) is better for swing trading and position trading.

🎯 Module 2: Targets Projection System

Predicts probable bullish and bearish price targets based on breakout logic and past behavior patterns.

Key Features:

  • Projects multiple bullish and bearish targets
  • Supports auto-recalculation on each new breakout
  • Option to extend target zones on the chart
  • Option to stay aligned with trend and to track targets based on latest breakout

# - Breakout of red or green cloud / box of IWC module i.e. an imbalanced state that leads to trend build up.

Purpose:

Projects bullish and bearish targets based on the latest breakout levels, helping you plan entry/exit and hedging strategies.

Usage:

Automatically calculates bullish and bearish targets after a breakout, making it easier to plan exits and manage risk. Targets update as price flow evolves, ensuring you're aligned with the latest market conditions.

📊 Important Note

Target Projection Module uses cloud breakouts for finding entry point, projecting targets, and calculating possibly failure point.

Enable or disable it from Professional 2025 > Settings. Default is Enabled

Targets System Overview Example

Elements of Module:

  • Target Zones: These zones are projected targets based on the strength of the breakout. Probability is highest that price flow will face strong reversal at these zones. Zones are used instead of points because when a target zone is broken, its lower point acts as a stop or hedging point i.e. risk control point.

⚠️ Key Points to Remember

  • Target 2 is where it is recommended to lock in maximum profit and to keep lower exposure for Target 3
  • At any point in time, if there is trap alert, it is recommended to lock in maximum profit irrespective of target zones hit
  • No position is recommended to be held beyond Target 3 zone. Traders should wait for fresh breakout
  • Target zones are not shown if breakout is considered invalid i.e. fake breakout or reactive breakout or not meeting basic minimum requirements
  • Entry Point: Shown in latest cloud / box breakout. In case of invalid or fake or reactive breakout, same is shown instead of entry point.
  • Levels modified: During subsequent breakouts in same direction i.e. current direction of trade, a notification appears when levels including zones and full hedge levels are modified. This does not alter entry point.
  • Full Hedge Point: Refers to price levels beyond which it is suggested to keep positions fully hedged if you are trading in options. In case of other trading instruments, it can act as optional exit point depending on trading style and risk appetite (see explanation on point-to-point and target traders in Core Concepts).
Targets System Elements Example

Settings Overview:

Target Projection System Texts

Displays supporting text labels for targets.

Default: Enabled

Bullish & Bearish Targets

Toggle to enable or disable the respective target types, depending on whether you prefer to trade long (bullish) side, short (bearish) side, or both sides.

Default: Enabled

Always Show Target Projection

Ensures targets are always visible, based on latest breakout, even during balanced state i.e. sideways markets post breakout.

Default: Enabled

Extend Zones

Controls the visual extension of target zones on the chart.

Default: None

Recalculate Targets on Each Breakout

Forces the system to refresh targets whenever a new breakout occurs. Levels are modified on subsequent breakouts only if this option is enabled.

Default: Disabled
Targets System Settings Example

💰 Module 3: Profit Takeaway Level (PTL)

Calculates optimal price levels for partial or full profit-taking, helping lock in gains. Guides your profit booking by identifying high-probability exit zones.

Key Features:

  • Displays PTL directly on the chart
  • Complements breakout strategies
  • Signals when market conditions deviate from expected profit zones

Purpose:

Suggest high-probability profit booking level.

Usage:

Plots expected price levels for partial or full profit-taking. When the market approaches a PTL, it's a signal to consider locking in gains or preparing for trend exhaustion.

📊 Important Notes

  • Bullish PTL acts as a strong support level when price is above it
  • Bearish PTL acts as a strong resistance level when price is below it

Multi-Timeframe Consistency:

PTL can appear closer on higher timeframes and farther on lower timeframes. Both levels are valid and reflect the market's multi-scale structure, allowing traders to align strategies for short-term or long-term trades.

Color Codes:

  • Long PTL: Blue (indicates expected profit zone for bullish moves)
  • Short PTL: Red (indicates expected profit zone for bearish moves)

Enable or disable it from Professional 2025 > Settings. Default is Enabled

PTL Module Overview Example

Elements of Module:

  • PTL Levels: PTL marks projected price points where a wave move is likely to pause, reverse, or consolidate. These levels act as smart exit guides for partial or full profit booking.

PTL Visibility Logic:

When a PTL is not visible, it suggests price is temporarily moving against the forecast or a setup is incomplete. Traders may consider hedging or reducing exposure in such cases. This information can be validated in analytics dashboard as well.

Breakout Beyond PTL:

A price breakout above the displayed PTL often indicates trend continuation. However, it's advisable to proceed with smaller position sizes after such breakouts, as the initial profit zone has already been crossed.

PTL Breakout Example

Settings Overview:

Show PTL Level on Chart

Displays the projected profit levels directly on the chart.

Default: Enabled
PTL Settings Example

🚨 Module 4: Trap Alert System

Identifies high-risk "trap" zones where traders are prone to making wrong entries due to deceptive price action.

Key Features:

  • On-chart trap alerts
  • Highlights potential false breakouts and liquidity sweeps
  • Improves decision-making and reduces unnecessary risk

Purpose:

Detect false breakouts and potential traps.

Usage:

This module issues alerts when price action suggests traders are likely being trapped (e.g., fakeouts, liquidity grabs). A valuable early warning tool to avoid poor trade entries or prepare for unexpected price swings.

⚠️ Important Notes

  • Hedging Suggestion: When a trap alert appears, it's recommended to hedge open positions or pause new entries, especially if you're trading in the same direction as the majority
  • Important: A trap alert does not confirm a reversal — it highlights risk, not direction

Color Code:

Trap Alert: Red-colored on-screen text by default, for immediate visibility and attention, depending on your settings.

Enable or disable it from Professional 2025 > Settings. Default is Enabled

Trap Alert Module Overview Example

Elements of Module:

Trap Detection Logic:

TAM scans the chart for conditions where a large group of traders might be lured into taking positions just before the market moves against them. These are often seen during fake breakouts, liquidity sweeps, or sudden reversals.

Visual textual alert appear in dashboard and on-screen depending on settings.

On-Screen Trap Alerts:

When a potential trap is detected, the module displays a clear text alert directly on the chart.

If no traps are present, the module remains silent to avoid unnecessary noise.

Trap Alert Elements Example

Settings Overview:

Show Trap Alert on Chart

Enables visual textual alerts on chart for potential traps.

Default: Disabled

🔄 Module 5: Trail Zone

Assists with dynamic stop-loss management and trailing profit protection.

Key Features:

  • Trail zone visualization for better risk management
  • Stabilization option for smoother trailing logic
  • Integrates seamlessly with the PTL and Target Projection modules

Purpose:

Assist with trailing stop-loss placement.

Usage:

Plots a self-adjusting trailing zone on your chart, helping you dynamically manage your stop-loss as the market moves. Offers an extra layer of protection for securing profits during trend trades.

📊 Important Notes

  • Dynamic Adjustment - The Trail Zone automatically adjusts as price evolves, making it easier for traders to follow trend strength and avoid premature exits
  • Risk Management Support - The Trail Zone is ideal for locking in profits or protecting capital once a trade moves in your favor, especially during trending markets

Color Code:

Trail Zone: Red-colored on-screen trailing zone and label by default.

Enable or disable it from Professional 2025 > Settings. Default is disabled

Trail Zone Module Overview Example

Elements of Module:

Trailing Zone Visualization:

The module displays a red colored zone around price action, marking the area that acts as a buffer for adjusting stop-loss positions. Staying above or below this zone helps guide when to stay in a trade or exit.

Decision Label:

Along with the zone, a label appears on the chart to reinforce the trailing decision visually, showing that the current price is still valid for the trend or warning of possible exit conditions.

Trail Zone Elements Example

Settings Overview:

Stabilize Trail Zone

Checking this option will update trailing zone at closing of candle only. It enhances the consistency of trailing zones for smoother trailing.

Default: Disabled
